About Us

Avant Garde Global Research, Consulting, and Training LLC is an online Florida-based company that offers academic writing, reading strategies, and tutoring services. It is owned and managed by an educator who has a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Policy with a bachelor and master’s degree in English Education and has more than 20 years of experience in the aforementioned areas.


We strive to meet the needs of learners of all ages and levels (including ELL learners) who are attending primary, secondary (pre-kindergarten to 12th grade), and post-secondary school (undergraduate and graduate universities and/or a part of: professional organizations or educational organizations).


Through our innovative online program, clients will have the ability to transform their ideas into words after proper reading, writing, research, training, and tutoring services are performed.

Biography

The CEO/founder of the company is also an online professor of English at an institution located in the Atlanta Metropolitan area and in the Jacksonville area. She’s also a writing consultant and a former English Education Program Manager/Coordinator and Assistant Professor at a Florida university. Her vast service in the university included these roles:

  • Assistant Director of a Departmental Girls’ Summer Program
  • Coordinator for Upward Bound
  • Teachers of a New Era (TNE) Representative (English Department)
  • Co-Chair for the Diversity Committee for Southern Association for Colleges and Universities (SACS)
  • English Curriculum Design Co-Chair
  • Coordinator for the Quality Enhancement Program (SACS) and Research
  • Reading and Writing Committee Chair

The CEO/founder has published several articles and a manuscript/book. She has also composed several grants to develop and implement courses to improve secondary education, post-secondary education programs, business start-ups.


Among her other achievements at the secondary level, she served as:

  • National Honor’s Society Advisor,
  • Journalism (Newspaper and Yearbook) Advisor,
  • Writing Consultant for All Students,
  • University Representative and Expert for K-12 State English Teacher Certification Examination Revisions,
  • Consultant in Several Summer Programs to Advance Reading and Writing.
